At Borea, each candle is designed to offer a controlled sensory experience.
However, a flame is still a flame.
Following these instructions will allow you to fully enjoy your ritual, in complete safety.

Essential Rules
- Never leave a lit candle unattended
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Always place the candle on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface
- Keep away from any flammable objects (curtains, wood, paper, textiles, etc.)
- Do not move a lit or still-hot candle
Before each use
- Trim the wick to about 5 mm
- Ensure the candle surface is clean (no dust or debris)
- Make sure the candle is stable
During combustion
- Avoid drafts
- Maintain sufficient space between multiple candles (minimum 10 cm)
Extinction
- Prefer a candle snuffer to avoid smoke and splashes
- Never blow too hard
- Check that the flame is completely extinguished
Specific precautions
- Sculptural candles may drip: use a suitable holder
- Do not let the candle burn down completely
- Stop use when approximately 1 cm of wax remains
