Our waxes are 100% plant-based.

At Borea, our candles are made from waxes that are 100% vegetable, GMO-free, pesticide-free, and not tested on animals. We prioritize responsible supply chains, certified RSPO, ensuring production that respects ecosystems and natural resources. This choice allows for cleaner burning and a sustainable alternative to petrochemical-based waxes.

Designed with an eco-responsible approach, our waxes are part of a process with a controlled carbon footprint, in line with reasoned and conscious production. The vegetable waxes used by Borea constitute a healthy alternative to paraffin-based candles, often found in industrial candles.

Unlike industrial wicks that may contain chemical treatments or metallic components, Oeko-Tex certified cotton meets strict safety and quality standards. Each flame is thus controlled, regular, and designed to accompany the ritual without disturbing the atmosphere.
